Our Level 2 Diploma in Care (RQF) provides the Health and Care workers with recognition for the day to day care delivery they provide to their client group. This qualification is suitable for learners within the Health or Adult Care Settings and is applicable to Adult Care Workers, Healthcare Assistants/Support Workers and Personal Assistants.

This qualification is registered on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) which is in turn regulated by Ofqual.

Course Description

This qualification is available for people working in a Health or Adult Care setting who have completed their induction as an Adult Care Assistant / Health Care Assistant / Support Worker or Personal Assistant

A nationally recognised and flexible (RQF) qualification that enables candidates to have a qualification that relates directly to their caring role within the care establishment.

This qualification is supported by:
Skills for Care (SfC) – the sector skills council for the adult social care in England and
Skills for Health (SfH) – the sector skills council for the Health sector.

Full Funding can be claimed back, currently available throughout the Suffolk & Norfolk region in conjunction with Care Development East (Suffolk Brokerage) or Norfolk and Suffolk Care Support (N&SCS). Contact us and we can help organise this on your behalf.

Choosing Your Course

All of our Diplomas allow you to tailor your Diploma around your specific interests within the Health or Care Sectors or around your work places specific area of expertise ie, Dementia, Learning Disabilities etc. You do this by choosing units from the Option Groups provided. Our allocated Trainer/Assessor can help you with this during your initial set up meeting.

To achieve the Level 2 Diploma in Care, learners must achieve a total of 46 credits, these can be made up of the 9 mandatory units and in addition a minimum of  22 credits from Option Group A.

This Level 2 Diploma in Care (RQF) is likely to take between 308 hours (guided learning hours) and 460 hours (total qualification time).
